Changing the Culture
The Addictions Services department at the South Shore District Health Authority had a mandate to raise awareness about the perils of excessive alcohol consumption in Nova Scotia. They turned to us to get their message heard. Using an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s poem, ‘If’, we recruited over 20 Nova Scotians from different walks of life to participate in a campaign about knowing where to draw the line with alcohol. The ad was launched online at www.changingtheculture.ns.ca, and played in Empire Theatres across the province as well as on the radio in some areas of NS.
